Objectives:

This course we have had a look at a large list of vocabulary, we have revised some grammar rules, learned new connectors and expressions, improved our reading, writing, listening and speaking skills…

Now it’s time to play with our knowledge and create at the same time!

Our objective this third term will be to revise relevant points seen this year making use of a funny tool: a comic

Methodology:

1.- Students will join in pairs

2.- They will look for basic vocabulary they should be aware of when talking about comics and create a funny crossword for their partners. Do you know the following words in English?:

historieta, globo/bocadillo, viñeta, personaje, argumento, cartela / cartucho, onomatopeya, metáfora visual…

These are some examples of the words to be translated and included .

3.- Choose THREE of the options below and:

* find information about them: structure, examples, links to practice, games…

* create a comic using PIXTON

Have a look at the different options and make your decision:

A- Adjectives      

* adjective order

* Comparison

* Too / Enough

B.- Word families

Compound words

* Pronunciation  (English teacher)

C.- False Friends (actually, library)

D.- Computer / Internet vocabulary (browse the net, at sign @, keyboard, tab key…)

E.- Connectors

F.- Phrasal Verbs

G.- Future Plans

H.- Present Perfect

Student´s choice 

Assessment:

All your comics will be seen in class and link on this blog so that any other school can see your work.

Part of your third term percentage will be given to this Mini-Project, therefore…. BE CREATIVE!!!
